Matt Oddie

I build tools and write about them here: home lab networking, the machines and operating systems behind it, and AI tooling.

Projects

• unifi-mcp is an open-source MCP server that lets AI assistants monitor and manage a UniFi Network controller.
• proxmox-mcp does the same for Proxmox VE clusters, nodes, VMs and containers.

How the first of those was built is written up in How to build an MCP server.
